Laser therapy:
The effect of the laser’s impact on tissues depends on many factors: wavelength, power and energy dose, pulse frequency and exposure time as well as the number of treatments in a series. Depending on the use of the specified values of the presented parameters, the resulting effect on tissues will have photochemical, photothermal and photoionization bases. In practice, the biostimulating effect will be expressed by improving the blood supply
and nutrition of tissues, stimulation and regeneration of cells and stimulation of protein synthesis. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
Benefits of laser therapy:
- has an analgesic effect,
- Anti-inflammatory
- anti-edubelly,
- Regenerative
- accelerates the formation of scars,
- accelerates bone build-up

Magnetotherapy:
Magnetotherapy is a physiotherapeutic method consisting in the interaction of a variable low-frequency magnetic field on the body. The magnetic field primarily produces a biostimulating effect. This results in an intensification of oxygen disposal and an increase in tissue respiration processes, and thus an increase in tissue metabolism.
The magnetic field evenly penetrates all tissues, which greatly facilitates the execution of procedures.
It is written in scientific studies that animals are more susceptible to a magnetic field than humans – they can feel when it is turned on and when it is not.
Benefits of magnetotherapy:
- Dilates blood vessels,
- It supports the formation of new capillaries.
- Intensification of oxygen disposal and tissue respiration
- Severity of soft tissue repair and regeneration processes
- Accelerating the process of bone adhesion formation
- Anti-inflammatory and anti-edubellatory effects
- Analgetic effect
- Modification of membrane transport and distribution of ions

Electrotherapy:
The most commonly used in veterinary medicine is the low-frequency pulsed current – extremely well tolerated by patients. Depending on the selection of parameters and the place of application of electrodes, it is used for neuromuscular reeducation or to achieve an analgesic effect.
EMS – electrostimulation of muscles, very helpful in restoring fitness, because it strengthens musculature in selected parts of the body.
TENS – percutaneous nerve stimulation, allowing to eliminate both acute, e.g. postoperative and chronic pain.
Thanks to the controlled stimulation of the sensory nerves, the conduction of pain impulses at the level of the spinal cord is inhibited.

Shockwave:
The shock wave produced in specialized devices is transmitted to the body with an applicator, and the pressure within the tissue can increase to 100 MPa, then fall sharply and reach a negative value. Thanks to this, the wave penetrates through the skin and goes to a specific place.
Benefits of shock wave therapy:
Analgesic
Reduces muscle tension
Improves blood supply
Inhibits spasms
Destroys pain receptors
Regenerative effects
Affects peripheral innerness

- The duration of the procedure depends on the type of ailment and varies from 10 to 30 minutes.
Ultrasound:
Therapy based on the delivery of mechanical vibrations to the patient’s body using an applicator. They give the effect of the so-called. micromassage. An additional benefit is the production of healing heat in the treated tissues. The energy of ultrasound causes a number of physicochemical reactions that improve functioning at both the cellular and tissue levels.
In this way, we can achieve the assumed therapeutic goals:
- improvement of the range of motion,
- improvement of circulation,
- mobilization of the nervous system, -analgesic effect,
- decrease in muscle tone.
Ultrasound is also used for phonophoresis, i.e. the introduction of analgesic and anti-inflammatory substances into the smooth of soft tissues.

PEMF mat:
PEMF technology (therapy with pulsed electromagnetic field) is used as a prophylactic, to prevent injury, especially in animals involved in sports or to treat ailments associated with diseases such as:
- arthritis
- osteoarthritis
- neurological diseases
- joint diseases
- hip dysplasia
- degenerative myelopathy
- rupture of the cruciate ligament and after
- related procedures
- stiffness and muscle pain
- fresh fractures and fractures with delayed
- adhesions
- rupture of tendons and ligaments
How PEMF works
Many of us associate PEMF technology (therapy with pulsed magnetic field), as it has been used since the 1970s to treat people with fractures with a lack of bone adhesions. Although Respond Systems products are not intended for human use, bio-pulsed PEMF systems have been in use for over thirty years in horse, dog, cat, and even elephant and giraffe therapy! PEMF technology uses pulsating magnetic fields, obtained by pulsating a small amount of battery current through wire coils, to initiate a natural biological cell response leading to improved circulation and pain relief.

Imaging diagnostics with thermal imaging camera:
Thermal cameras operate using the fact that any object with a temperature higher than absolute zero emits infrared radiation itself, which can be recorded by the camera sensor. Wavelengths are smaller, depending on body, surface and temperature. In addition, radiation in itself does not provide information on the exact temperature – these values are adjusted on the basis of reference models and mathematical algorithms.
The advantage of thermal imaging is also the ability to work in complete darkness.

ClickBefore your first visit
The Dolbia Animal Rehabilitation Center cares about the comfort and safety of both patients and their owners, so please read the rules of operation and reception of our dear wards.
Before we meet in a rehabilitation center, in the first place we will need:
- referral from the attending physician (in the case of sports dogs, it is enough to inform about the absence of contraindications to exercise), please send an email or provide us in person
- patient data (gender, race, date of birth, microchip number, vaccination status – mandatory vaccination against rabies)
- owner’s details (home address and telephone number, email address)
- patient’s medicalhistory, previous treatment, past illnesses, current health status
Before each next visit
- Do not feed your dog at least one hour before therapy, as well as one hour after
- Come at least 10 minutes before the scheduled surgery
- Make sure your dog has used the toilet in front of the entrance (the dog toilet catwalk is to the left of the main entrance
- Read the security rules
- After hydrotherapy, you can use a shower, shampoo, or bring your shampoo
- A dryer is alsoavailable, although not all dogs feel comfortable when using it
- Always remember to take the towel for your ward and dry it well, especially in the winter months
- In our center there are dog bathrobes available for purchase – this is how we support the Golden Retrievers Relief Foundation – Aurea
- After exercise, make sure that your dog can rest, on theday of therapy, no other exercises and long walks are indicated
We do not accept animals:
without up-to-date vaccinations
with symptoms of kennel cough
with wounds
clearly neglected (dirty and unpleasantly fragrant)
aggressive onesover which the owner is unable to control the
with temporary intestinal problems (slowness, diarrhoea), please change the previously agreed treatment dates
in the course of the liquid should stay at home
